Key Club is one of the largest clubs at LHS with around 50 people. It’s not just any club, it’s a national volunteering organization that helps students get volunteer hours, looks great on college resumes and benefits their community. One of their non-profits is the Ronald McDonald project.
“They build houses and provide homes for people, [so] they can stay there for free,” said Key Club president, Hayden Barney.
To join Key Club, grab a form from Mrs. Nedrow and pay $20 to the bookkeeper.
Green Team is a group that’s determined to help the environment. Led by adviser Chenne Fox, these Pacers dedicate their resources to saving the planet, one step at a time.

“We work with [the] Lake Oswego Watershed Council to do projects like planting trees,” said adviser Fox. “One of the things I know [we] want to work on is an outreach program to try to get local companies, especially food service companies, to not give out plastic utensils. We’re also going to try to do an electronics recycling program,”
Meeting Tuesdays during TSCT to discuss environmental issues and how to combat them, their work is vital and often flies under the radar.
Drama Club is key to supporting and posting about Drama productions, by organizing merchandise and, calendars to keep members informed on important dates. They also provide opportunities to watch other plays.
“Drama Club puts on other fun performances and events, such as junior one acts, where high schoolers get the chance to direct a scene for middle schoolers, and 24 hour theatre, where actors are given 24 hours to put on a comedic scene,” said vice president Mason Loomis.
Along with sending a group to state regional competitions, where actors compete in different categories. Meeting on Tuesdays after school in the Black Box.
