Whether the team is having spirit days or hyping each other up at practice, they are always enjoying each other’s company. Because of their chemistry, they can set themselves apart from their competition
As seniors, they feel a need to increase the team’s spirit because of the huge roster.
“I personally have felt inclined to support the team’s underclassmen,” said senior Alexandra Grigorie.
This year’s cheer roster is much larger than last year’s. With much more interest in the program, there are even more underclassmen needing guidance.
But it is not only the seniors providing guidance towards the underclassmen, the coaches have to step up to help the team become even more successful.
“She is pushing us harder this year because she knows what we are capable of and how talented our team is,” said sophomore Nazli Gad.
A bigger roster means more talent, and with more talent comes more wins in their upcoming events. With their upcoming tournaments, the team is optimistic for a successful season.
The captains feel a need to up the team spirit with the much higher roster they have than in past years.
