Mission for Fewer GreenHouse Gasses

The Earth is constantly changing, some cases good and some bad, in this instance it’s changing negatively. Climate change is increasing at a rapid speed, causing long term shifts in global temperature. More frequent and intense droughts are occurring along with melting glaciers, storms, warming oceans, sea levels rising etc. Scientists say that humans are the main cause of this change. Humans burning fossil fuels has increased the concentration of greenhouse gasses.

Greenhouse gasses affect the earth’s temperature and species. It puts chemicals like carbon dioxide, methane etc into the atmosphere. Greenhouse gasses also contribute to respiratory disease from smog and air pollution. “Extreme weather, food supply disruptions, and increased wildfires are other effects of climate change caused by greenhouse gasses”.

Using renewable energy, adjusting thermostat, using energy saving light bulbs, are just a few things that you can do to help reduce greenhouse gasses

There are many long term risks if climate change doesn’t get resolved in the next 10 years. Wanting to help climate change is just a matter of wanting to help the plant, animals and future generations. We all want clean water, no one wants polar bears, turtles or snow leopards to go extinct, we all want our sea animals and sea creatures to be healthy, so doing things to help climate change is a considerable act and the little things matter.
