Legendary Ping Pong Club at LHS

The various clubs at Lakeridge cannot compare to one of the newest clubs, Ping Pong Club. The club was started by juniors Hannah Miller and Kendall Marshall this year. The club meets once a quarter to have an epic ping pong tournament after school at Lakeridge.

“The idea for this club came to me with playing ping pong at house with Kendall,” said Hannah Miller.

The love for the game ping pong is very common among Lakeridge students, most people have ping pong tables at their house.

“I always play ping pong with my friends,” said Kendall Marshall. “It was natural to think of starting a Ping Pong Club”.

The club meets once a quarter to have an epic ping pong tournament after school at Lakeridge.

“I have only played ping pong once before joining the club,” said Jill Coleman, a member of ping pong club. “Coming to the tournaments is a lot of fun.”

Even if you aren’t in ping pong club right now, you can still join the upcoming tournaments for 3rd and 4th quarter by sending a DM to the Lakeridge Ping Pong Club twitter account called @ppcLHS.

This club is full of every skill level so the tournaments are relaxed but for those who take ping pong seriously be prepared for intense games with worthy components.
