Lakeridge Forecasting

It is third quarter, meaning that the time to forecast for the following year has come to Lakeridge. Forecasting is now done online in StudentVUE.

“We’re trying to go paperless,” says Lakeridge counselor Lee Brown when asked as to why forecasting has been done on StudentVUE as opposed to on paper.

For students confused about the process, Brown recommends they review the handout about scheduling.

He also says that another important tip for navigating the online forecasting site is to use the dropdown menu labeled “department” because it will help the student see more available courses.  It is also recommended that students make sure they have four alternate classes chosen.

Brown also says that forecasting is due by the counselor meetings during History class.
