Coffee Club- Ran by Tasai Klasen, stop by room B-30 to brew, taste, and discuss all of the amenities that come along with coffee. They meet every White day Tuesday during break. “I love coffee, I would say it’s a lifestyle,” says Tasai. “it’s an acquired taste, but don’t be afraid to give it a try!”
Robotics Club- Robotics club is ran through Community School, and you must sign up there to be a member. They meet every Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. in room F-28. The club competes up against other schools in competitions, and allows for programmers of any skill level to learn, develop, and practice their skills. The Lake Monsters won the Wilsonville District Competition on March 16, 2015, with the events highest score (140 points).
Multicultural Club- Ran by Hedeya Saberian, the purpose of multicultural club is to push an understanding and acceptance of all types of cultures. This club is in charge of planning the multicultural night and assembly that LHS hosts, as well as the International Night. They meet every Wednesday during break in room F-21. The Multicultural club assembly is set for Feb. 26 during the school day, and International later that night at 7 p.m.
Poetry Club- The next Poetry Slam is set for Feb.12, likely at LHS. Jun Davies is the student leader of poetry club. They meet every Monday in room F-9 with club adviser Dickinson. Here, students recite and read poetry in front of other club members. It is not a competition, but solely for fun!
