In October, Uber held an event that delivered kittens to stressed workers. According to Business Insider, this event was held in celebration of National Cat Day; it also wanted to promote pet adoption.

Uber’s event may have ended along with National Cat Day, but there are still many opportunities to meet with and adopt cats.

The Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood has a calendar on their official webpage that lists upcoming events. The calendar shows an event called “12 Cats of CATmas” and, according to the site, is an event where people can adopt from a selection of cats for free.  The calander also shows many opportunities to go to local Petsmarts and adopt cats from the Cat Adoption Team.

The Cat Adoption Team is located at 14175 SW Galbreath Drive in Sherwood.
