30 of LHS’s student athletes signed to compete at the collegiate level, making Signing Day a celebration of hard work and future goals.
LHS proudly recognized its senior student-athletes during the Signing Day ceremony on May 20. Pacers celebrated those who have committed to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level.“I’m running track and cross country at Clackamas Community College,” said senior Evie McCarty. “I’ve done this sport for two years.”
The event brought together families, coaches, staff, and peers to witness each athlete sign their National Letter of Intent. Students announced commitments to colleges across the country, from Division I universities to prestigious smaller programs.
“I am going to North Carolina State University,” said senior Eleanor Crandall. “I have been sailing competitively for 5 years.”
Each athlete was individually recognized for their accomplishments and future goals, highlighting the talent within the LHS community.
As they prepare to compete at the next level, these students show the values of commitment, leadership, and athletic as well as academic excellence.
Congratulations to all Pacers continuing their journeys in college athletics.
