“It’s three birds on my collarbone and they represent my family, so my mom, me, and my dad. It was my 18th birthday gift, and my mom has a matching one in the same spot. We wanted to choose a swallow because we always heard them playing at the beach,” said senior Bella Rogers.

“It’s the knife from the movie ’12 Angry Men’, which my grandpa was in. I love movies, so it sort of resembles my family and love for movies. The knife is the biggest symbol in the movie and it’s of one of my favorite movies of all time,” said sophomore Cameron Buck.

“My dad drew it, and it has meaning of life cycles on no matter what, kind of like how the moon cycles on throughout no matter what. So it’s connecting to how life always cycles on and everything’s temporary. I felt like it’d be more meaningful if my dad drew it, since I’m gonna have it on forever, so I wanted to make it as meaningful as possible,” said senior Kenzie Helle.

“I have always loved tattoos a lot and decided on this a year or so ago. I’ve loved tattoos since I was around 13 so if anything it means that I’m finally able to appreciate the artwork that I’ve loved for so long. If I end up not liking it in the future, it’s a good story to tell. I got it done at a studio called Acolyte Tattoos,” said senior Jake Kotansky.
